A true fan of Jesus wants to please Him at every moment and under every circumstance, in private and family life, in business and their relationship with themselves. That’s why they don’t worry too much about others’ opinions: often, indeed, their decision to please Jesus proves to be unpopular and meets with disapproval (or even mockery) from those around them who have bent to the Matrix modus operandi.

If I want to please Jesus I won’t allow myself to be discouraged by the trials and difficulties I encounter during my life’s walk on this earth, conscious of the fact that all things work together for good for those that love Jesus (cf. Rom 8:28).

In other words, being a real fan of Jesus is a question of priorities. What is my highest priority today? To risk unpopularity and please Jesus or to feel accepted by the Matrix?
