Statistics reveal that murders are decreasing. Institutions say that the death penalty is slowly disappearing. Leaders proudly confirm that these are the best times ever.
Am I on the brink of a new era, one of peace and universal brotherhood? How come even the doctors of the law are joining the chorus of magicians, fortune tellers and mediums, which for centuries have predicted an evolutionary leap of the human species? Who is the bearer of this new light?
My guiding star warns me repeatedly and peremptorily: “They bandage my people’s wounds and say, ‘Peace, peace’, when there is no peace.” (see Jeremiah 6:14 and 8:11 )
The Matrix, the apocalyptic Babylon of the last days, seems to be a better place compared to past civilizations, but in reality, it is spiritually more blind and farther from God than any other. Jesus himself assures me that it will be more tolerable for Sodom’s doom than that of the Matrix ( see Luke 10:12 ).
Doesn’t Jesus warn me that His second coming will be sudden like a thief in the night? Matrix is a glittering world outwardly, but rotten inwardly. That’s why the return of Jesus will be a surprise for his would-be fans who allow themselves to be dazzled by the doctrine of human enlightenment which should have resulted in a new era of peace and security here on this earth.
