“Thus says the Creator GOD:

You were once an example of perfection, you were full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty;

You lived in Eden, the garden of God; you were covered with every kind of precious stones.

Drums and flutes were at your service, they were made for you the day you were created.

You were a cherub with outstretched wings, as a protector.

I commissioned you, you were on the holy mountain of God, you walked among the stones of fire.

You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, until evil was found in you.

Because of your extreme evil behaviour, everything in you is violent, and that’s how you became corrupted;

that’s why I will throw you out, as an outsider, out of the mountain of God, and I will make you disappear from the midst of the stones of fire, O covering cherub.

Your heart became proud because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor; I hurl you down to the ground and leave you as a warning to other kings.

You did such evil, your wicked behaviour has corrupted all that is holy; therefore will I set fire in your midst that will devour you and I will reduce you to ashes upon the earth in the presence of all those who look on you.

All who ever knew you, are astonished at seeing you; you have become an object of terror, and you will never exist, ever again.”
