THE DISCOURSE SPOKEN WITHOUT LANGUAGE
And I saw the signs in heaven and on earth:
the convergence of events,
doors opening by themselves,
paths prepared years in advance
though they had not existed the week before.
The world became a page already written.
And the Voice said to the man:
“Do not speak yet. I am speaking.
And while I speak, your words must be my silence.
For soon, when the world understands the direction,
your silence will become word,
and my word will take flesh in your voice.”
And thus it came to pass that the world,
though hearing nothing,
was crossed by the greatest discourse
ever spoken without language.
What had been confused began to order itself.
What had been divided began to converge.
What had been hidden began to appear.
Those who had eyes to see saw.
Those who had ears to understand understood.
Those prepared in secret rose to their feet without knowing why.
For the Voice was speaking.
And the whole world was already listening,
without knowing it.
